After serving in the U.S. Army, Dr. Robert Long returned to civilian life in 1956.  Dr. Long says that he lived "a rough life" for several years traveling and living in more than 20 states. Finally, he received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 1976.  Then in 1980, he surrendered to the Lord's call to preach.  After attending Bible School he served as an Evangelist and Pastor for several years. He founded the Independent Baptist Alliance in 1999 and after receiving Bachelor's, Master's and Doctor's degrees, he founded Liberty Bible College and Seminary. Since then, Dr. Long has served as Pastor, Evangelist and Educator. In 1985, Dr. Long founded Salvation Unlimited Radio Broadcast which can be heard today on many AM, FM and Shortwave Radio Stations.  It was and is still Dr. Long's desire to see souls saved and Christians totally commit themselves to serving the Lord Jesus Christ.
