Elvin Wheelis has been a pastor since 1963 and in the mid-sixties he started a radio program called Christ Is The Answer on several radio stations.   In his search for a name for the program he came across the song Christ Is The Answer on an album and the Lord led him to use the song as his theme as well as the title of his program.  This long-running program has been on World Wide Christian Radio for nine years and now is part of the outstanding schedule of programs on Universal Christian Radio.  Pastor Wheelis says his desire is “to win the lost  and build up the saved.  We have enjoyed God’s blessings as we preach Christ to the nations, that He is the Answer to all the soul’s needs. ‘This saith the Lord,’ is our rule book, the Bible.  I believe God’s Word is without error or contradiction, verbally inspired and it is eternal Truth God has called me to preach His Word.”
